I think this lab knew I had a disc along the moment I turned into the airport so I obliged and threw one for him until my 9:00 arrived.
I guess a $14 disc is a small price to pay for "friends for life".
If you decide its time to slow down call Del for a scooter. He has a few. 701-282-4103
Del has a pretty Viking, however, his prop was severely out of balance, the battery was dead and his tach was off by 350 rpms. Needless to say we were both happy he had the wherewithall to respond to the DPB mailer.
Nick Klaers and his partner (his name escapes me so lets just call him Woody). These guy cracked me up all morning and since they recruited three other balance jobs for me I hired them to work in sales. Nice job guys. I'll promise I won't tell your other club members that you hired me to balance a prop that was already balanced by Jim Jeffries. Whoops.
Another cardinal is bestowed with "the smooth".
Since this owner is in the ethanol plant machinery business he'll be calling me soon as he steps down to a King-Air.
